तक्षकस्य विषं दन्ते
मक्षिकायाश्च मस्तके ।
वृश्चिकस्य विषं पुच्छे
सर्वाङ्गे दुर्जनस्य च ॥
takṣakasya viṣaṃ dante
makṣikāyāśca mastake ।
vṛścikasya viṣaṃ pucche
sarvāṅge durjanasya ca ॥
विषं (viṣaṃ) = poison
तक्षकस्य दन्ते (takṣakasya dante) = in the teeth of a snake
मक्षिकायाः च मस्तके (makṣikāyāḥ ca mastake) = and in the head of a bee
वृश्चिकस्य पुच्छे (vṛścikasya pucche) = in the tail of a scorpion
सर्वाङ्गे दुर्जनस्य च (sarvāṅge durjanasya ca) = and in the entire body of a wicked person.
Meaning: Poison is present in the teeth of a snake, in the head of a bee, in the tail of a scorpion and in the entire body of a wicked person.
