I realized that the answer is YES. Let me tell why I think so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each one of us must have got this question sometime or other. Yes, if your mother tongue is any Bharatiya<\/em> language and if you can speak your mother tongue. It is a bonus if you can read or write in mother tongue. Because, most Bharatiya<\/em> languages are rooted in sa\u1e43sk\u1e5bta\u1e43<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your connect with your mother tongue is broken, you may find learning sa\u1e43sk\u1e5bta\u1e43<\/em> difficult. Another reason you may not agree with me is if you already have knowledge of mother tongue and even tried to learn sa\u1e43sk\u1e5bta\u1e43<\/em> but gave up after a few futile attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For learning something new, the key is the interest and the resources. I have spent a considerable time wandering (window shopping) to find out which is the best course for learning sa\u1e43sk\u1e5bta\u1e43<\/em>. There are a lot of courses available and each one of them has its own unique approach and each one is great in its own way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courtesy Chinmaya International Foundation<\/em> (CIF<\/em>), I found Sanskrit for Shastra-Study<\/em> Course by CIF<\/em> on YouTube taught by Brahmachari Ved Chaitanya<\/em> ji<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I realized that learning one Sanskrit verse a week is not a big deal. In this series, I am just repeating what has been taught by Shri Vedji<\/em> as part of Sanskrit for Shastra-Study<\/em> Course by CIF<\/em>. The classes for this course are available on YouTube here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
