वासनाद्वासुदेवस्य
वासितं भूवनत्रयम् ।
सर्वभूतनिवासोऽसि
वासुदेव नमोऽस्तु ते ॥
vāsanādvāsudevasya
vāsitaṃ bhūvanatrayam ।
sarvabhūtanivāso’si
vāsudeva namo’stu te ॥
वासुदेवस्य (vāsudevasya) = of Lord Vishnu / Krishna
वासुषु दिव्यति (vāsuṣu divyati) = one who shines in all objects
OR वासुदेवस्य अपत्यम् (vāsudevasya apatyam) = son of Vasudeva
वासनात् (vāsanāt) = due to whose dwelling / existence
भूवनत्रयं वासितम् (bhūvanatrayaṃ vāsitam) = the three worlds exist
सर्वभूतनिवासः असि (sarvabhūtanivāsaḥ asi) = You are the abode for all beings
(हे) वासुदेव (he) (vāsudeva) = O, Lord Vishnu
ते नमः अस्तु (te namaḥ astu) = May there be prostrations unto You.
Meaning: Lord Vishnu / Krishna, one who shines in all objects, son of Vasudeva, due to whose dwelling / existence the three worlds exist, you are the abode for all beings, O, Lord Vishnu, may there be prostrations unto you.
