वसुदेवसुतं देवं कंसचाणूरमर्दनम् ।
देवकीपरमानन्दं कृष्णं वन्दे जगद्गुरुम् ॥
vasudevasutaṃ devaṃ kaṃsacāṇūramardanam ।
devakīparamānandaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ vande jagadgurum ॥
वसुदेवसुतं (vasudevasutaṃ) = to the one who is son of वसुदेव् (vasudev)
देवकीपरमानन्दं (devakīparamānandaṃ) = to the one who gives happiness to the mother देवकी (devakī)
कंसचाणूरमर्दनम् (kaṃsacāṇūramardanam) = to the destroyer of कंस & चाणूर (kaṃsa & cāṇūra)
देवं कृष्णं (devaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ) = to the Lord Krishna
जगद्गुरुम् (jagadgurum) = to the world-teacher
वन्दे (vande) = I prostrate.
Hint: द्वितीया विभक्ति / Accusative Case (2nd Case)
Meaning: I prostrate Lord Krishna, who is the son of Vasudeva, who gives happiness to mother Devakī, who is the destroyer of Kaṃsa & Cāṇūra and the world-teacher.
