65. janmadinamidam ayi priya sakhe

जन्मदिनमिदम् अयि प्रिय सखे ।
शं तनोतु ते सर्वदा मुदम् ॥
प्रार्थयामहे भव शतायुषी ।
ईश्वरः सदा त्वं च रक्षतु ॥
पुण्यकर्मणा कीर्तिमर्जय ।
जीवनं तव भवतु सार्थकम् ॥
पूज्य गुरुजी स्वामी तेजोमयानन्द जी

janmadinamidam ayi priya sakhe ।
śaṃ tanotu te sarvadā mudam ॥
prārthayāmahe bhava śatāyuṣī ।
īśvaraḥ sadā tvaṃ ca rakṣatu ॥
puṇyakarmaṇā kīrtimarjaya ।
jīvanaṃ tava bhavatu sārthakam ॥
pūjya gurujī svāmī tejomayānanda jī

अयि प्रिय सखे (ayi priya sakhe) = O dear friend!
इदं जन्मदिनम् (idaṃ janmadinam) = this birthday
ते सर्वदा मुदं शं तनोतु (te sarvadā mudaṃ śaṃ tanotu) = may always manifest joy and welfare for you
शतायुषी भव (इति) प्रार्थयामहे (śatāyuṣī bhava (iti) prārthayāmahe) = we pray that you live for hundred years
ईश्वरः च त्वं सदा रक्षतु (īśvaraḥ ca tvaṃ sadā rakṣatu) = and may God ever protect you
पुण्यकर्मणा कीर्तिम् अर्जय (puṇyakarmaṇā kīrtim arjaya) = may you acquire fame by good actions
तव जीवनं सार्थकम् भवतु (tava jīvanaṃ sārthakam bhavatu) = may your life become meaningful.

Meaning: O dear friend! This birthday may always manifest joy and welfare for you. We pray that you live for hundred years and may God ever protect you; may you acquire fame by good actions; may your life become meaningful.
