पठामि संस्कृतं नित्यं
वदामि संस्कृतं सदा ।
ध्यायामि संस्कृतं सम्यक्
वन्दे संस्कृतमातरम् ॥
paṭhāmi saṃskṛtaṃ nityaṃ
vadāmi saṃskṛtaṃ sadā ।
dhyāyāmi saṃskṛtaṃ samyak
vande saṃskṛtamātaram ॥
(अहम्) नित्यं संस्कृतं पठामि – (aham) nityaṃ saṃskṛtaṃ paṭhāmi = I read Sanskrit daily
(अहम्) सदा संस्कृतं वदामि – (aham) sadā saṃskṛtaṃ vadāmi = I always speak Sanskrit
(अहम्) संस्कृतं ध्यायामि सम्यक् – (aham) saṃskṛtaṃ dhyāyāmi samyak = I meditate on Sanskrit well
(अहम्) संस्कृतमातरम् वन्दे – (aham) saṃskṛtamātaram vande = I offer my obeisances to mother Sanskrit (mother of all languages)
Meaning: I read Sanskrit daily; I always speak Sanskrit; I meditate on Sanskrit well; I offer my obeisances to mother Sanskrit (mother of all languages).
